16" Bluefish

September 26, 2019 I caught the biggest bluefish I have ever caught. We were out fishing for stripers at Fort Trumbull and one of our poles started to bounce up and down. I went over to it and took it out of the rod holder. I let it start to take line out of the reel. I set the hook and started to fight it. It took about five minutes but I finally got it on the pier, It was not a striper but it was the biggest bluefish I had ever caught. We measured it and it measured out to be 16". It was DELICOUS.

  1. Hello sister Kristine Mullen. I am a Pastor from Mumbai, India. I am glad to stop by your profile on the blogger and the blog post. I am also blessed and feel privileged and honoured to get connected with you as well as know you and about your interest in photography, crochet and a heart for the homeless. I am also glad to notice that you have appreciation for God's creation and want to capture His beauty through photography. It was interesting to go through your blog post on Blue Fish the largest you caught. I love fishing and when ever I come to the States, I have a friend who also has a hobby of fishing and I do go with him for fishing. I am so glad to know that you have a heart for the homeless people and also has a seperate blog post on it though you have not recently posted any thing on it. We do work among the homeless and the poorest of poor people in the slums of Mumbai. i love getting connected with the people of God around the globe to be encouraged, strengthened and praying for one another. I have been in the Pastoral ministry for last 40 yrs in this great city of Mumbai a city with a great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokeneharted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. Would love to have some of your grown up kids who are in their late teens and above to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. Iam sure they will have a life changing experience. Looking forward to hear from you very soon. God's richest blessings on you, your family and friends. My email id is: dhwankhede(at)gmail(dot)com and my name is Diwakar Wankhede. Wishing you a very joyous Christmas season and a very Christ centered coming New year 2020. I may not be able to revisit your blog posts but you could write me on my email id.
