Second Channel Catfish

September 3, 2019 I caught my 2 Channel Catfish ever. It was our second trip to try to catch them. Me & my dad were hanging out watching our 2 bobbers when one started to move, I tried setting the hook nothing. That happened at least 5 or 6 times. Finally I got him on the hook. He fought hard but we had our net with us so when he got close enough my dad scooped him up. He was about 19" & I'm guessing about 2 or 3 pounds. I gave one of the fillets to my moms hairdresser because she said she had never tried catfish. We seasoned it with salt and pepper and then soaked it in milk for about 2 or 3 hours. Then floured it put it in the leftover milk then floured it again. Then we fried it in oil and it was delicious.
